But this is all about a trivial gem called Iluka and the pace of life here is much slower than on the other side of the river. This fact makes it a truly rewarding experience for those craving the 'good life' that provides a huge atmosphere of golf, fishing and idle days on the beach. And there's more than a fair chance you and your partner won't have to share any of these experiences with too many other locals or visitors. The fairways are healthy maintained and manicured and precede into an array of greens which are eternal rolled true and are a delight to putt on. The course also offers golfers that do not like crowds the very scarce experience of playing a round and having the fairways to themselves. Although Iluka is known as a nine hole course, it sets up for a challenging 18 holes of golf all maintained daily by our greens keepers and volunteers. Huge club, huge people and atmosphere. We will be back!.
